On Saturday morning I took a reclining chair out onto my patio of clear and pleasantness and took to it with a sledge hammer. It was a stubborn mule but I managed to smash it into three subsidiary episodes. I then stored these segments of chair in the shed over night. The next day the chair wedges were flung over the fence into the car park. I then entered the Almera and drove round to the car park where I deposited the flung chair nuggets into the boot. They are currently still in my car. The itinerary for the chair morsels follows thus:
Saturday- Overnight stay in the shed.
Sunday- Airborne travel to NHS car park. Spend night in Almera.
Monday- Visit Steven's place of work. Trip to BP for refueling.
Tuesday- Get dumped at the household waste site circa 1.45pm.
Wednesday- Prospective journey to land fill. Make some new friends.
It is a shame it has ended like this, but the chair broke and it therefore pays the price. It is a good thing I've got some new furniture being delivered courtesy of DFS. It's called 'Natalie', and involves a corner sofa, reclining chair and foot stall. Delivery is estimated for April, bit of a wait but there is nothing that can be done. This is a waiting game that I am involved in.
